A-2: Your Breast Bet: The latest advancements in breast health and the fight against breast cancer by  San Joaquin Community Hospital.

Dr. Francesca Hoehne will discuss how to prevent, treat and recover from breast cancer. In this session you will learn the risk factors, how to properly perform a breast self-exam and be educated on the lifestyle habits that play a role in breast cancer diagnoses. Dr. Hoehne will also discuss genetic implications and the role of testing in battling breast cancer.

 

 


A-3: “It’s Never Too Late to Regain Your Life!” by Catherine Skow.

Do you have an addiction controlling your life? Catherine will share her experience of getting on and staying on the road to recovery at the age of 60! Catherine will highlight how The Mission at Kern County, friends and family, kindness of strangers, and most of all God contributed to her success, how “giving back” has changed her life forever and what you can do if someone you care about suffers from addiction.
